A Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is a collaborative team formed after a disaster to coordinate and support long-term recovery efforts within a community. The goal of an LTRG is to bring together various government agencies, non-profit organizations, faith-based groups, businesses, and community members to ensure that all recovery needs are addressed, from rebuilding infrastructure to providing ongoing support to individuals and families.

Members of our Small Business 365 Circle are community champions that contribute a minimum of $1 of business revenue per day to help meet the basic needs of those in our community experiencing a crisis.
211 is a free, confidential service that connects people to locally available programs and resources. More than 5,000 requests for service a year come from our friends and neighbors looking for help with stable housing, utility payments, food, mental health, healthcare, disaster recovery, transportation, and other needs.

The GROW Program is a financial literacy course offered to our clients as well as referring agency clients.  The program runs over the span of ten weeks, being held on Tuesday nights from 6:00PM-7:30PM. Each class focuses on a specific topic such as budgeting, credit building, creating a resume... etc. Dinner, childcare and other incentives are provided at no cost to attendees.
United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance  provides free and accurate tax preparation services to low- to moderate income taxpayers.  The program utilizes certified volunteers to complete and file the return with taxpayer consent.

Women United is a forceful philanthropic group that believes in the collective power of women accomplishing more together. By our members leveraging their resources, Women United provides scholarships to local high school seniors pursuing higher education after graduation. Members of this affinity group have frequent opportunities to netork and volunteer.
United Way invests in local community agencies that align with our core Impact Areas: Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, Healthy Community, and Community Resiliency. By directing funding to programs that support education, economic stability, health, and disaster preparedness, United Way helps ensure that individuals and families have the resources they need to thrive. These targeted investments strengthen the overall wellbeing of the community and create lasting, measurable change.
