United Way is committed to assisting homeless families in Citrus County. Our Rapid Rehousing Program offers support to eligible clients. This support may include first and last month’s rent, utility hook-up fees and possibly more. With nearly 600 homeless students in our Citrus County School District, providing housing assistance to families is a priority for United Way. This program is made possible through grant funding and contributions from donors.
Individuals and families seeking assistance may contact United Way for more information. The process begins with a Coordinated Intake in partnership with the Mid-Florida Homeless Coalition.
