- United Way Has Moved
As volunteer president of the board of the United Way of Citrus County, and on behalf of the board and staff, I would like to take this time to thank Don Turner, Rocky Hensley and all the other employees of Centerstate Bank for allowing the United Way to use their Crystal River office as their new home base. The second-floor office they offered is very conducive for the United Way staff to do their good work with minimal expense. The timing could not have been better and Centerstate Bank is truly a first-class corporate citizen.

The board would also like to thank Chet Cole, Melissa Walker and all the Key Center personnel who permitted the United Way to share quarters with them for over seven years. Their generosity is also well appreciated.

Lastly, I would be remiss in not thanking the Citrus County Chronicle for allowing the United Way to store documents and records within their storage facilities and that their publisher, Gerry Mulligan, has reached out to all the citizens of Citrus County, by asking them to help their fellow citizens in need by contributing $25 to the United Way. What a great community we reside in.

Thanks again to Centerstate Bank, the Key Center and the Citrus County Chronicle for all they do for our county.
