Corvette Winner

Steve and Jewel Lamb of Crystal Motors, located in Homosassa, announced the winner of the brand new 2012 Chevy Corvette Coupe on Saturday, December 10th as Sal Messina of Springhill, Florida.

Paul Cash, CPA, representing Williams, McCranie, Wardlow and Cash, P.A., a local certified public accounting firm, conducted the drawing.

There were a total of 1002 tickets sold this year. There were 614 second chance tickets also for those people who purchased their ticket early, making the odds of winning as 1 out of 1616. The drawing raised approximately $100,200.00 for two local charities.

The two charities benefitting this year from the drawing are United Way of Citrus County and the Black Diamond Foundation. United Way of Citrus County supported 19 different agencies this year for a total of $425,000.00. Black Diamond Foundation supported 20 agencies for a total of $138,000.00 annually.
