Spirit of the Community Award

This annual award recognizes businesses or service clubs/ foundations/ civic organizations that have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of people in our community by encouraging volunteerism in their employees or members, supporting special initiatives and projects, and by hosting a successful employee/member United Way campaign.

There is one category for service clubs / foundations / civic organizations and 3 business categories based on the number of employees.

The Spirit of the Community Awards is presented each year at the United Way Annual Meeting/Awards Luncheon. Winners of the 2009 award from the 2010 Annual Meeting are:
